The Challenge
A District Attorney Office’s technology landscape required refresh at a very sensitive time of the year. In the midst of intensive budget requirements, the office faces the challenge of pre-configuring, imaging and deploying a large number of technology systems. In addition to ensure proper configuration of the new technologies, the office faced the challenge of properly removing and disposing of the old systems they were replacing.
In order to ensure a quick and seamless transition between technologies while adhering to budgetary constraints, the office would need a partner skilled in the unique logistics challenges presented by large-scale technology rollouts.
The Solution

After achieving a detailed understanding of the office’s configuration requirements, CloudLine developed a detailed map and inventory of existing assets in need of replacement. Next, CloudLine provided imaging services and asset tags for all new equipment to be deployed. Proper pre-configuration and imaging services were essential in order to meet the tight timeline of just over one week.
In one week, CloudLine led the configuration, imaging, transportation and deployment of 3,000+ new technology systems. In addition to deploying the new hardware, the office leveraged CloudLine’s decommissioning and recycling services to properly dispose of old equipment.

The Results
Ultimately, CloudLine delivered on time and in budget while complete avoiding costly downtime. There were no failures in the process, and all new assets were properly recorded in the asset management system.
