The Challenge
A large, regional health system needed to configure, transport and deploy mission-critical medical carts to multiple hospital sites. In addition to ensuring that all medical carts were flawlessly configured to spec, the health system also faced the challenge of accessing the carts it needed, precisely when it needed them—all without incurring the costs associated with managing inventory on-site.

The Solution

CloudLine began by developing an in-depth understanding of the medical carts’ specifications and requirements. Working in its state-of-the-art warehouse, CloudLine then built hundreds of carts to customer spec, and completed all required imaging and asset tagging services. Applying its technical acumen and meticulous attention to detail, CloudLine ensured that all carts were pre-configured appropriately and would arrive at their end destination ready-to-perform.
Through CloudLine’s flexible warehousing solutions, the health system was able to tap into the financial benefits of a high-volume purchase, without taking on the overhead and space required to store and mange medical carts on-site. CloudLine provided the health system real-time visibility into medical cart inventory at all times, and the ability to dynamically request new medical carts as it needed them. CloudLine quickly transported requested medical carts to the health system’s various sites, and oversaw set-up in the healthcare environment.
In cases where new medical carts were replacing old assets, CloudLine properly decommissioned end of life assets, including overseeing the destruction of sensitive healthcare data, disposing and recycling hardware, and providing certificates of destruction as required.
